Northstar is a lightweight media archive built around full-resolution photography and predictable static delivery.

How it is built

The public pages and image originals are served directly by Nginx. There is no account system, database or dynamic publishing stack in the request path.

Media delivery

Original JPEG files are stored on the origin and linked directly from their detail pages. As the archive grows, the same URL structure can be placed behind object storage or a CDN without changing the public site design.
